Privacy notice (draft)

Who it's for

DishRizz is for people 13 and older. If you're under 13, please don't use DishRizz or sign up. If we learn we collected information from someone under 13, we delete it.

What we collect

• Waitlist: your email, and optionally your school and whether you're in high school or college.
• Your confirmation that you're 13 or older.
• Your taste profile (favorite proteins, spice level, diet preferences, cuisines and dislikes), only if you check the box to save it.
• Basic technical data our web host logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.

The demo

The taste quiz, mock streak and food passport on this site are stored only in your browser. The profile is saved only if you opt in. "Delete my profile" in the My profile menu clears it.

How we use it

• To tell you when DishRizz launches.
• To highlight dishes that fit your tastes, if you opted in.

What we don't do

• We never sell your profile or personal information.
• We don't share your taste profile with advertisers.
• No alcohol marketing, ever.

Your choices

You can view, edit or delete your taste profile anytime. To delete waitlist info, contact us. A privacy contact email will be listed here before launch.

Nutrition data

Standard calorie estimates come from USDA FoodData Central and describe a typical preparation, not a specific restaurant's dish.
